Thanks for photos Doc.. Oh if ANY of you have L-20 Beaver photos in MATS schemes please send them to me or post them on forum... Same for any color photos of the previous planes... That TF-51H is a gooood excuse for me to repaint the WOP P-51H in a NICE MATS scheme While the L-20 will allow us to go bushflyin on MATS trips...IF anyone else is currently repainting these planes please let me know so we wont have duplicate projects

I regret that I screwed up a weeks worth of work on the MATS WP-40E, However, one of our FS flyers has agreed to help fix my mistakes on that repaint... Very very happy, Thanks Ridli for showing me how to layer textures!!! So I thank MATS , Bob's forums, Ridli, Moo, Doc , Iceman ,and anyone else who has supported me.

Now.. I have another favor to ask, Since I have the TF-51H MATS 90% done but lacking USAF WW2 style insignias.. Has anyone found some great ones they use quite often on repaints? Or any USAF WW2 style insignias.. If you do please upload link/ send them to me so we can get some more MATS planes flyin...

Thanks Ridli for trimming those Insignias up better than I ever could have, All I gotta do is add MATS globe, then save as 24bit textures and upload them to Doc later tonite so he can add them to MATS fleet... The TF-51H project went very smooth and finished it in a matter of 2-3 hours compared to days of what the P-40 was.. amazin how easy somethin is after you paint it a few times.

We might get a C-141 MATS sometime this winter as Ridli is working on Alphasims Model that has been released as Freeware!

After I release the TF-51H MATS, the F-51D MATS are to come, The F-51D's were part of the Icelandic Air Defense system in the 50's.. basically about 34 P-51D's rearmed and flown from as far away as California to Iceland because the US loaned a few fighters to Iceland in case of war. They didn't even bother to paint over the MATS scheme..

Thanks to another flyer, Eric, (Jetta5) for giving me info on accquiring the Aerosoft DHC-2 Paintkit. So we should be adding a MATS L-20 Beaver sometime too..

As to when I will or Ridli finishes the TF-51H , dont count on em soon, Apparently, Moo says it works fine on his but turns up as ghost white lump on my PC so I dunno.... I'm tryin to learn this stuff on top of learnin at school.. lol.. I layered the TF-51H but it dont show up on my WOP mustang.. dont make any sense...
Cuz it works on Moo's stang... used V1.2 paint kit aswell
Been busy with school and just had Veterans day break, so I thought I'd drop in and tell the status...

Basically all these repaints I did got screwed up in formating so it wont appear in FS9 somehow, so I handed them to Ridli who knows alot more than I do..

Maybe in a few weeks with my new PC and adobe photoshop will solve all this..

MATS TF-51H is now finished. Nice work Ridli... man he dumped soooo much alpha channel on this. You'd still be polishing a real stang since WW2 and it would NEVER be as shiny as the new MATS one is... Just look at it glisten.. Now its up to Bob to upload this for the rest of you who have Wings Of Power P-51D/H package for FS9 to download. F-51D projects can be started now

any chance we'll get a MATS P38, hopefully once Japanese Sandman II is finished in IL2, i'll convert it over to FS9...sweet...but if u check out Pacificwrecks.com or just google Japanese Sandman II, u can see what she was and what 60+ years have done. Her pilot also returned to visit her, its pretty moving.
